Description
Beautiful and very rare Biedermeier bracelet with medallion, crafted from yellow gold 585 / 14 ct (stamped and guaranteed).
The historic bracelet consists of knot-shaped links engraved with floral structures that fit comfortably around the wrist. There is a decorative, oval ornamental piece with a medallion on the front. A floral cover can be opened. Underneath is a historical photograph, a so-called daguerreotype, with a portrait of a man. The picture frame can be opened on the back and a photo or souvenir can be placed in it.
The bracelet has a very well-functioning snap clasp that can be easily opened and securely closed again.
This high-quality, historical piece of jewelry dates from the Biedermeier period and probably once belonged to the wife of the man in the daguerreotype, whom she wore on her wrist close to her side as a memento. This piece of jewelry was made around 1840!
If you wish, the daguerreotype can of course be removed and replaced with your personal photos or memories.
Length of the bracelet: 17.5 cm.
Width: 2.0 - 4.0 cm.
Weight: 32.7 grams.
Condition: Beautiful historical condition, freshly cleaned, see photos.
You will receive the bracelet lovingly packaged in one of our pretty cases and with a certificate of authenticity.
Please note: Vintage or antique pieces of jewelry are worn objects that may show slight signs of wear due to their history.
