Diamond
Naturally occurring mineral belonging to the mineral class of elements. Diamond consists of pure, cubically crystallised carbon and requires enormous pressure and temperatures of up to 1,250 degrees Celsius in the earth's interior to form. It is considered the hardest naturally occurring material, but has a certain brittleness and is cleavable!
