Historism
Stylistic period of the 19th century that simultaneously drew on, referenced and reinterpreted past styles such as Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque (stylistic pluralism). Historism influenced architecture, art and crafts and came to an end with Art Nouveau at the beginning of the 20th century.
