Description
Opulent historical design bracelet by Theodor Fahrner, crafted from gold-plated 925 sterling silver (stamped, guaranteed and signed).
The wide bracelet consists of movable links in an arched shape, reminiscent of a stylised lily flower, known as a fleur-de-lis. The links are decorated with spirals of fine cord soldering, very typical of Fahrner jewellery, and each has a row of three shiny silver marcasites in the centre.
The bracelet closes with a special type of lobster clasp.
This original piece of jewellery was created around 1930 by Theodor Fahrner in Pforzheim. Fahrner and his later successor Gustav Braendle are considered pioneers of modern jewellery design in Germany, as they were among the first jewellery manufacturers to offer artistic jewellery at affordable prices. Fahrner jewellery is therefore still valued today for its high quality and unusual designs.
Dimensions of the bracelet: 19.0 x 2.4 cm.
Diameter of the marcasites: ca. 0.7 - 0.9 mm.
Weight: 34.7 grams.
Condition: Beautiful historical condition, freshly cleaned, see photos.
The bracelet comes lovingly packaged in one of our high-quality cases and with a certificate of authenticity.
Please note: Vintage and antique jewellery are worn items that may show slight signs of wear due to their history.
