Description
Beautiful large Baltic amber necklace with a clasp made of satin-finished, gold-plated 925 silver (stamped and guaranteed).
This wonderful necklace consists of large, slightly irregular, oval to round amber stones, which are joined together by an olive-shaped, satin-finished magnetic clasp made of gold-plated silver. The bright honey-coloured amber stones enchant with their impressive size, interesting inclusions of moss, lichen and other plants, and their warm colour.
The fossilised resin amber found on the Baltic Sea coast can be dated to ca. 30 to 50 million years ago. People were already making jewellery from it in the Stone Age, as numerous finds on the Baltic Sea coast prove. To this day, the appeal of this fascinating material remains unbroken!
