Castellani
Italian goldsmith family that became famous in the mid-19th century for "Italian archaeological jewellery". For three generations, the Castellani family created jewellery of the highest craftsmanship, influenced by Etruscan, Roman, Greek and Byzantine antiquities. It was not just a matter of copying the style, but also of researching and learning ancient techniques (Etruscan granulation, ancient filigree technique, Byzantine gold enamel).
