Traditional costume Jewellery

We offer antique and vintage traditional costume jewellery from the Biedermeier period through historism, the first half of the 20th century up to the 1960s and 1970s. This includes hand-picked vintage costume necklaces, choker necklaces, bracelets and earrings, buttons and bodice fasteners and, of course, charivaris for men. Our traditional jewellery is made exclusively from silver or gold.

About us

Founded in 2011 by art historian, gemmologist and diamond appraiser Christiane Scharrer-Sieb, Halsbandaffaire offers an expertly curated selection of antique jewellery from ca. 1800 to Art Déco, plus 20th century vintage jewellery and modern pieces, mainly from manufacturers in Germany and Italy. There are also pieces from our own studio, including gemstone and cultured pearl necklaces, bracelets and earrings.
