Chic large vintage spider brooch made of partially gold-plated 925 silver (stamped and guaranteed).
This unusual brooch consists of a naturalistic leaf with a large, delicately gold-plated spider sitting on it. The leaf has an artistic matt finish on the inside, while the three-dimensional spider is polished to a shine and delicately gold-plated, making it stand out well against the leaf structure.
The brooch fastens at the back with a secure pin and safety clasp.
Brooches featuring animal motifs have been present in jewellery for centuries and remain a popular motif to this day. Former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright was not the only one who mastered the art of communicating her opinion through brooches.
