Hair jewellery
A form of (usually English) friendship and mourning jewellery; items such as medallions, rings or brooches are adorned with locks of hair from children, spouses or relatives as mementos. However, bracelets and (watch) chains woven entirely from hair were also made; these were particularly popular in the 19th century.
