An exceptionally elegant bangle from a German noble family’s collection, set with old-cut diamonds totalling ca. 3.2 carats, crafted from 750 / 18-carat white gold (assayed and guaranteed).
The elegant bangle is set with 23 sparkling Old European Cut diamonds on its front. They are arranged in ascending order of size, have a total carat weight of ca. 3.2 ct and are of a fine quality (H–I, SI1). The rear section of the bangle’s band is decorated with delicate, openwork bars.
The bangle fastens with a concealed box clasp featuring a safety chain.
The use of Old European Cut diamonds was quite common in the early 1950s; after the war, jewellery from estates was frequently remodelled and the designs reinterpreted in a new and contemporary style, as is the case here with this particularly timeless and elegant bangle, which was created around 1950 and originates from a well-known German noble family.
