Description
Delicate vintage Art Déco pendant and chain from Vienna, both crafted from 585 white gold / 14 carat (hallmarked and guaranteed).
A beautiful teardrop-shaped pendant hangs from a delicate anchor chain with a spring ring clasp. It features fine, geometric openwork and millegrain decorations.
The centre of the pendant is adorned with a sparkling Old European Cut diamond of ca. 0.18 carats (H-I, SI1-SI2), framed by eight diamond roses totalling ca. 0.08 carats.
This highly elegant pendant necklace was created around 1918 in Vienna and is therefore a typical example of early Art Déco. Geometric designs, white metals and the sparkle of diamonds were en vogue at the time and are beautifully realised in this piece of jewellery.
