Description
An elegant and rare Art Deco ring set with diamonds and sapphires, crafted in 750/000 white gold (faintly hallmarked, tested and guaranteed).
The shield-shaped ring head is set with five old-cut diamonds and two calibrated triangular-cut sapphires. Delicate openwork and mille-graine decoration further accentuate the beautiful design. The old-cut diamonds are of fine quality (H-I, SI1-SI2) and have a combined carat weight of ca. 0.5 carats. The sapphires have a combined carat weight of ca. 0.2 carats.
The florally chiselled ring shoulders merge into a simple band.
This elegant ring was created around 1920 and its design is typical of the austere styles of Art Deco jewellery.
