Description
Large vintage charivari with seven pendants, crafted from 835 silver (stamped and guaranteed).
Seven pendants sit on a slightly blackened flat armour chain: a deer toe, a roe deer spitz, an ornamental medal with the portrait of King Ludwig II and the Bavarian royal coat of arms on the reverse, a large deer cow, a 1/2 dollar commemorative coin from 1964 with the portrait of John F. Kennedy and the heraldic animal of the USA, the bald eagle, on the reverse, a lynx ear and a deer beard. All pendants are attached to the chain with beautifully decorated silver settings.
The piece of jewellery is attached to the leather trousers via two large spring clasps.
The impressive charivari was created around 1965 and is an authentic addition to traditional costume.
Total length of the charivari: ca. 34.5 cm.
Length of the pendant (incl. eyelet): ca. 3.6 - 11.5 cm.
