Particularly beautiful bistoury medallion pendant with turquoise blue enamelling and seed pearls, crafted from gold-plated silver (stamped, tested and guaranteed).
The front of the oval medallion is decorated with a gold-plated ear of barley set with eleven small, shimmering white seed pearls. The barley motif is embedded in a perfectly preserved enamelling in strong turquoise blue. The large eyelet and the back of the medallion are also decorated with enamel.
Inside the piece of jewellery there are two fabric-lined frames that offer space for small mementos such as locks of hair, pictures or photos.
The antique locket was created in Vienna around 1890 and is still a wonderful way to carry memories of loved ones with you or to give them as a loving gift.
