Description
A particularly fine Art Deco ring with a "Vivid Green" tourmaline and diamonds, crafted from 585 white gold (stamped and guaranteed).
The nave-shaped ring head, typical of the period, is centered with a round, faceted green tourmaline. The colored stone has an impressive size of approximately 2.48 carats and is characterized by its intense, luminous color. The tourmaline is surrounded by a total of 22 sparkling octagonal diamonds, set in geometrically accented settings accentuated with mille-grits. The diamonds have a total stone weight of approximately 0.3 carats and are in the excellent quality range (G-H, VS2-SI1).
This exquisite ring comes from Augsburg and was created around 1920 during the heyday of Art Deco. It impresses not only with its contemporary design, but above all with the outstanding tourmaline, whose unique, vibrant green color is exceptionally well-exemplified in combination with the numerous diamonds and the white gold.
