Description
An exceptionally beautiful Art Deco diamond ring, crafted from 14-karat (585) yellow gold and platinum (hallmarked, tested, and guaranteed).
This elegant ring features a pointed-oval head with a fine platinum overlay. Set amidst geometric openwork and intricate milgrain detailing are a total of 13 high-quality diamonds: twelve eight-cut diamonds and a central Old European cut diamond as the main stone. The sparkling center stone weighs ca. 0.33 carats (H-I, VS1-VS2), while the smaller eight-cut diamonds have a combined weight of ca. 0.24 carats (H-I, VS2-SI2).
The rounded shape of the ring head creates a smooth transition to the slender yellow gold shank.
This historic piece dates back to around 1915—the early Art Deco period, an era marking the transition between Art Nouveau and Art Deco. The ring exemplifies this style with particular elegance, harmoniously blending soft curves with clean, structured lines. It is a magnificent testament to the early 20th century!
