A simple, high-quality tanzanite ring, crafted from 950 platinum (hallmarked and guaranteed).
The ring head is set with a delicate blue, oval-faceted tanzanite weighing approximately 2.8 carats. It is held in place by a sturdy prong setting, which allows plenty of light to reach the beautiful stone through openings at the bottom and sides.
The platinum band, with its clean, simple design, really shows off the gemstone’s wonderful colour to its best advantage.
This exquisite gemstone comes from the Mererani Hills in Tanzania and is renowned and much loved for its intense colour, ranging from blue to a delicate blue-violet. It is a variety of the mineral zoisite and, due to traces of vanadium, exhibits striking pleochroism, which causes the colour to change depending on the angle of the light.
Our beautiful ring comes from Munich, was crafted around 1990 and is not only perfect for festive occasions and evening events, but is also ideal for everyday wear or as a unique engagement ring.
