Description
Fine snake ring with diamonds and emeralds, in yellow gold 585 /14 ct (stamped, signed and guaranteed).
The ring consists of a coiling snake whose head and tail end are set with three octagonal diamonds totalling ca. 0.03 carats. Two small, bright green, round-faceted emeralds totalling ca. 0.02 ct. serve as the eyes. The body of the snake is also delicately engraved with the typical reptile pattern of the snake.
The ring was created around 1980 and comes from the Pforzheim-based company Georg Lauer, which was founded in 1895. Under the name Laudier, it is one of the most renowned jewellery brands in Germany and is known for its elaborate jewellery creations.
This pretty piece of jewellery is not only very decorative, but also a ring with a special charisma thanks to the snake's multifaceted symbolic character.
