Description
A striking 1960s-style bangle featuring sodalite, crafted from 925 sterling silver (hallmarked and guaranteed).
The textured, rectangular-shaped bangle features a curved vis-à-vis motif on the front, set with two round sodalite stones in a table cut. The gemstones have a deep royal blue colour and the interesting veining typical of the stone.
The bangle band is made of sterling silver and also features a ribbed texture that creates beautiful light effects. What makes it special, however, is the ingenious mechanism for putting on and taking off the bangle: thanks to a folding hinge, the bangle can be hung from one of the centrally positioned, movable eyelets and thus easily slipped onto the wrist. A small safety clasp ensures an additional, secure hold.
This stylish bangle was created around 1968 and reflects the spirit of the 1960s. The quest for new ideas and alternative lifestyles is also evident in the highly imaginative creations of the jewellery industry. This chic bangle remains impressive even today and can be effortlessly incorporated into modern outfits.
Internal dimensions of the bangle: 5.9 x 4.2 cm.
Diameter of the sodalite stones: ca. 1.5 cm.
Weight: 31.2 grams.
Condition: Good condition, freshly cleaned, see photos.
You will receive the bangle in one of our high-quality cases and with a certificate of authenticity.
