A beautiful, large vintage medallion pendant with a chain, both made of 925 sterling silver (English silver hallmarks, stamped and guaranteed).
The medallion is engraved and decorated with beautiful floral motifs on both the front and back. It is also framed by a delicate cord border and a wavy border. It opens up to reveal space inside for storing personal mementos, photos or keepsakes.
A sturdy sterling silver pea chain hangs from the practical pendant eyelet; it can be easily opened and closed with a small lobster clasp.
This beautiful locket was crafted around 1973 in Birmingham, the city in the UK renowned for its long tradition of silversmithing. The historic Jewellery Quarter, in particular, is internationally renowned and still produces a significant proportion of British jewellery.
