Description
A beautiful Historicist-style pendant featuring a gray moonstone and seed pearls, crafted from gold-plated silver (assayed and guaranteed).
A delicately crafted pendant with filigree ornamentation hangs from a fine anchor chain made of gold-plated silver: At its center sits an oval gray moonstone in a cabochon cut, whose gentle shimmer is complemented by numerous delicate gray seed pearls. The fine pearls accentuate both the floral motif and the surrounding ornamentation, lending the piece a festive yet timeless charm.
This historic piece of jewelry was created around 1890 during the Historicist period, when stylistic elements from the past were incorporated and combined in new jewelry designs. Here, too, elements reminiscent of Rococo stylistic motifs can be found, though interpreted in a unique way.
The pendant’s delicate design and understated color scheme make it a timeless piece that can be worn in a variety of ways and on numerous occasions.
