Vintage garnet necklace from Munich, crafted from Norm Gold and 925 sterling silver (tested, hallmarked and guaranteed).

This beautiful necklace is made up of faceted garnets in various sizes. The centrepiece is an artfully crafted oval pendant: delicate, dark-red garnets are arranged in two rows to frame a larger, oval-faceted centre stone, lending the piece a particularly striking appearance.

The pendant is made from Norm Gold – an alloy of less than 8 carats (333 gold), which was particularly commonly used for garnet jewellery in the past. The delicate decorative elements on the pendant and the clasp are made from gold-plated 925 silver and add harmonious accents.
The necklace fastens with a simple and practical lobster clasp, also made from gold-plated 925 silver.

This traditional vintage necklace was created around 1960 in Munich and is highly versatile. It looks its best as a stylish addition to traditional costume and dirndls!
