8 diamonds in rose cut, ca. 0.8 mm in diameter, total 0.08 ct.
Description
Historic earrings with diamonds, crafted from 585/14 K yellow gold and platinum (tested and guaranteed).
Each slender hinged earring features a narrow, pendulum-shaped drop set with rose-cut diamonds and two transition-cut and octagonal-cut diamonds respectively. The diamonds are of very fine quality (H-I, VS1-VS2) and have a total stone weight of ca. 0.28 carats.
As was customary at the time, the earrings are crafted from yellow gold and coated with platinum, which shows off the set diamonds to their best advantage.
The historical earrings were made around 1910 and originate from southern Germany. They reflect the spirit of the Belle Époque, when delicate floral jewellery designs made of "white" precious metal with high-quality settings were the preferred choice. Today, the drop earrings can be beautifully combined with feminine looks and classic wardrobes.
Dimensions of the earrings (including clasp): ca. 2.8 x 0.5 cm.
Diameter of the diamonds in transition/octagonal cut: ca. 1.2 - 3.1 mm, total ca. 0.2 ct (H-I, VS1-VS2).
Diameter of the diamond roses: ca. 0.8 mm, total 0.08 ct.
Weight: total 2.9 grams.
Condition: Very good condition, freshly cleaned, see photos.
The earrings come lovingly packaged in one of our pretty cases and with a certificate of authenticity.
Please note: Vintage and antique jewellery are worn items that may show slight signs of wear due to their history.
