Description
Enchanting historical diamond ring from the Belle Époque, crafted from 585/14K yellow gold and platinum (stamped, tested and guaranteed).
The shield-shaped ring head is openwork and set with a row of three old-european-cut diamonds in the centre. Embedded in gently curved décor, the three main stones are accompanied by twelve additional old-european-cut diamonds, four of which are set on the delicate ring shoulders.
The 15 distinctively sparkling diamonds have a total stone weight of ca. 0.64 carats and are of beautiful quality (H-I, VS2-SI2).
The ring band and head are crafted in 585 yellow gold, and the ring head is additionally finished with a noble platinum coating in keeping with the taste of the time.
This fine piece of jewellery was created around 1910 and originates from Vienna. It reflects the typical style of the Belle Époque, when delicate floral diamond jewellery made of "white" precious metals was particularly en vogue. Today, this exquisite ring is a particularly elegant testament to the jewellery art of the turn of the last century and would also make a beautiful antique engagement ring.
