Description

Charming Belle Epoque pendant with diamonds and seed pearls, crafted from 585/14 carat yellow gold and platinum (stamped and guaranteed).

The wonderfully delicate, octagonal pendant in yellow gold is openwork with delicate bars. The circular centre is forged with a pretty, symmetrical pattern, with an old-cut diamond at its centre. Further small diamond roses, set in platinum, are located on the edge between the octagonal and circular shapes, forming a delicate pattern of petals and stars with four seed pearls.
The sparkling diamonds have a total weight of ca. 0.18 carats and are of beautiful quality (I-J, SI2).

The antique pendant was created around 1910 and is a particularly beautiful example of Belle Époque jewellery art. During this period, delicate designs and diamond settings were preferred. The exquisite jewellery of that era reflects the joie de vivre of a time of peace and prosperity.
