Gorgeous antique pendant with violet almandines and small diamonds, crafted from 750 / 18k yellow gold (stamped and guaranteed).
The fine pendant is crafted in an openwork, tapered quatrefoil motif with fine engravings and delicate bars. At its centre is a flower made of four drop-shaped faceted almandines in a beautiful violet tone. The almandines belong to the gemstone group of garnets and have a combined stone weight of ca. 1.2 carats.
The curved stem of the flower is also set with two small diamond roses totalling ca. 0.01 carats.

This charming pendant was created in Vienna around 1910 and is characteristic of the Viennese Art Nouveau style, which focused on floral motifs but favoured a clearer formal language and a more reduced design compared to other European centres.
