Historic Viennese medallion pendant / brooch with turquoise, crafted from 585 / 14-carat yellow gold (hallmarked and guaranteed).
The beautiful oval medallion is adorned on the front with a three-dimensional floral branch, whose blossoms are represented by small turquoise cabochons. In the centre, the branches are held together by a curved band of red gold. Not only is the beautiful, sculpted goldsmith’s work particularly lovely, but so too is the colour contrast between the vibrant turquoise and the warm gold tone. On the reverse, a frame can be removed, revealing space behind it for a photograph or small mementos.
Thanks to a movable eyelet, the medallion can also be worn on a chain of your choice. We would be happy to advise you on a suitable chain from our range.
Furthermore, this beautiful piece of jewellery can also be used as a brooch; the sturdy pin on the back with a C-hook can be easily and securely fastened to a lapel.
The medallion was created around 1890 in Vienna and is an enchanting, versatile piece of jewellery that is also ideal as a personal gift.
