Large vintage bow brooch set with diamonds by Louis Fiessler in Pforzheim, crafted from 750 / 18-carat gold (hallmarked, guaranteed and signed).
The beautifully curved bow ribbons are crafted from high-quality yellow and white gold, creating an attractive two-tone effect. The contrasting surface textures – finely hatched on one side and vividly grooved on the other – create a wonderful interplay of shapes and light reflections.
In the centre, the bow is set with three sparkling octagonal-cut diamonds totalling ca. 0.05 carats (G–H, VS1–VS2).
On the reverse, the brooch features a reliable pin mechanism with a safety slider, allowing it to be attached to clothing easily and securely.
This elegant brooch was created around 1965 and comes from the long-established company Louis Fiessler in Pforzheim. The company, which initially specialised in the manufacture of necklaces, was founded in 1857 by the goldsmith Louis Fiessler and a group of like-minded idealists, and remains renowned to this day for its high standards of craftsmanship and the exquisite quality of its jewellery. The company uses tried-and-tested techniques and traditional tools, ensuring that every piece embodies a level of craftsmanship that has become increasingly rare.
