Description
Particularly elegant, signed vintage ring with large coral, crafted from yellow gold 585 / 14 ct (stamped, guaranteed and signed).
The oval ring head is set with a highly oval, large and untreated precious coral bouton in an attractive salmon red colour. The bezel setting made of high-quality gold merges into an elegant ring shank and perfectly matches the beautiful colour of the coral.
The high-quality ring was created around 1990 in the renowned workshop of Munich jeweller Theodor Heiden.
This traditional company was founded by Theodor Heiden (1812-1865), who worked as a modeller, engraver and chaser. His son, Theodor Heiden junior (1853-1928), continued the business and supplied the Bavarian royal family, among others. In 1881, Prince Regent Luitpold awarded Theodor Heiden the title of ‘Royal Bavarian Court Goldsmith’ in recognition of his craftsmanship - a title that is still used in the company name today.
With its impressively large, untreated and even Mediterranean coral, this ring makes a classy yet cheerful statement on the hand.
