Description
Delicate Austrian Biedermeier earrings with small seed pearls, crafted from gold-plated silver (tested and guaranteed).
These fine earrings consist of a curved cartouche with a charming floral motif in the centre. The flower and its leaves are finely hatched, and the centre of each is set with a tiny seed pearl. A small movable bead forms the lower end of the design.
The antique earrings are fitted with contemporary so-called Viennese clasps, which open at the front.
The pretty earrings were made around 1860, originate from Linz and are an authentic piece of jewellery from the Biedermeier period thanks to their magnificent floral decoration and cartouche shape. The earrings can be combined with traditional costumes and dirndls as well as with feminine, romantic looks for everyday wear.
Total length of the earrings: ca. 2.3 cm.
Dimensions of the cartouche: 1.5 x 1.2 cm.
Diameter of the seed pearl: ca. 1.5 mm.
Weight: 2.0 grams in total.
Condition: Very good historical condition, freshly cleaned, see photos.
The earrings come lovingly packaged in one of our pretty cases and with a certificate of authenticity.
Please note: Vintage and antique jewellery are worn items that may show slight signs of wear due to their history.
