Description
Elegant earrings from the Belle Époque period, crafted from sapphires, diamonds, 750/18-carat yellow gold and platinum (stamped, tested and guaranteed).
The antique earrings consist of a movable oval element in yellow gold with a platinum overlay typical of the period. Four table-cut diamonds and an octagonal diamond in the centre of the design are set between geometric milgrain decoration and fine openwork. The total of ten diamonds have a stone weight of ca. 0.14 carats (I-J, SI1-SI2). In addition, a total of twelve blue sapphires in a triangle cut set beautiful colourful accents (weight of the sapphires ca. 0.35 carats in total).
The elegant ear jewellery is adorned with softly curved hook earrings in 750 yellow gold, which were added later.
The historic earrings were created around 1910 and originate from Munich. They have a sophisticated and high-quality look, yet are not too obtrusive, making them ideal for everyday wear.
Dimensions of the earrings (incl. hook): 2.6 x 1.0 cm.
Diameter of the diamonds: ca. 1.0 - 2.3 mm, in total ca. 0.14 ct (I-J, SI1-SI2).
Dimensions of the sapphires: ca. 2.6 x 1.5 mm, in total ca. 0.35 ct.

Condition: Wonderful historical condition, hook prisms added later, freshly cleaned, see photos.
