Vintage earrings featuring diamond roses, crafted from 585 yellow gold (assayed and guaranteed).
These pretty, round gold clip-on earrings each feature a sparkling diamond rose at the centre, totalling ca. 0.36 carats, set within a small, flower-shaped bezel setting. The wide rim of the earrings, which frames the diamonds, is decorated with a delicate cord-wire motif typical of the period.
The practical clip fastenings with a pin were added around 1950 and ensure a secure fit on the ear.
These beautiful earrings were made around 1890 and are the perfect match for traditional costume and dirndls, though they also look very chic when styled with modern outfits.
