Description
A charming historic ring featuring diamonds and Orient pearls, crafted from 585/14-carat yellow gold (hallmarked and guaranteed).
The shield-shaped ring head, featuring a platinum setting typical of the period, is set with three vertically arranged Oriental pearls, framed by eight old-cut diamonds. The diamonds have a combined carat weight of ca. 0.32 carats and are of a fine quality (G-H, VS2-SI1).
The simple yellow gold shank stylishly completes the design.
The ring was made around 1910 and is a typical example of the elegant jewellery style of the Belle Époque. The setting of the three Orient pearls makes it particularly precious.
