Beautiful antique medallion in the shape of a coat of arms, crafted from 585 / 14-carat yellow gold (tested and guaranteed).
The finely crafted medallion is adorned with delicate ornamental engravings on both the front and back and can be opened using a small clasp. The front is further adorned with black enamel and delicate seed pearls, lending the piece a special elegance.
The transition between the eyelet and the pendant has also been crafted with great attention to detail, featuring fine ornamentation. Inside are two oval settings for holding photographs or personal mementos.
This charming antique medallion was created around 1880 in southern Germany and bears witness to the distinctive culture of remembrance of the 19th century as well as the romantic design ideals of its time.
The individual craftsmanship and the loving details lend the piece an unmistakable, personal character and make it a particularly charming testament to historical jewellery art.
