Description
Unusual Biedermeier concertina bracelet with seed beads in rose gold-plated silver (tested and guaranteed).
The elaborately decorated bracelet has a circular element on its front side, which is set with a floral motif of seed beads and two colourful glass stones.
The bracelet's bar, which works like an accordion and can be easily slipped over the wrist by simply pulling it apart, is particularly noteworthy. The individual links are decorated with small flowers and decorative intertwined elements typical of the period.
This charming piece of jewellery from the late Biedermeier period was made around 1870 and comes from southern Germany. It is an excellent example of the jewellery art of the mid-19th century and can still be wonderfully combined with traditional costumes and dirndls, for example.
Inner circumference: up to ca. 18.5 cm.
Width of the bangle: 1.8 cm.
Diameter of the glass stones: ca. 2.3 mm
Diameter of the seed beads: ca. 1.3 - 2.3 mm.
