Wonderful antique ring featuring a Ceylon sapphire and diamonds, crafted from 750 / 18-carat yellow gold and platinum (tested and guaranteed).
The enchanting, rosette-shaped ring head with a platinum overlay, is adorned at its centre with a fine cabochon-cut Ceylon sapphire weighing approximately 0.4 carats. The blue gemstone is surrounded by eight diamond-set decorative segments forming an openwork star shape. The sparkling Old European Cut diamonds have a combined carat weight of ca. 0.32 carats (J–K, SI2–P1).
A narrow, sturdy gold shank completes the lovely design.
This elegant ring was created around 1915 and captivates above all with its wonderful cornflower-blue Ceylon sapphire and the finely crafted ring head. It is ideal for everyday wear as well as for festive occasions, or is perfectly suited as a truly unique engagement ring.
