Historic English necklace with aquamarines and a seed pearl, crafted from yellow gold 625 / 15 ct (stamped and guaranteed).
This charming necklace has a centrepiece whose top is set with a shimmering blue, round-faceted aquamarine. From this stone, two elegant bars run into a double-framed circle that harmoniously draws the eye to the centre. Eight further aquamarines sit there, arranged in a circle around a seed pearl. The total of nine aquamarines have a combined stone weight of approx. 0.4 carats and, in harmony with the seed pearl, give the piece of jewellery a fine shine.
An anchor chain with a classic spring ring clasp rounds off the design and ensures a secure hold.
The elegant necklace was created in England around 1900 and reflects the preference of the time for delicate shapes, subtle colour nuances and artistic craftsmanship. Its harmonious design makes it an enchanting testimony to this stylish era to this day.
