Description
A pretty Austrian traditional dirndl necklace with garnets, crafted from 800 silver (hallmarked and guaranteed).
This delicate traditional necklace features five rows of softly cascading pea chains in the centre, which converge into a diamond-shaped central cartouche. This is intricately designed with curved bars and volute motifs and set in the centre with a deep red oval garnet rose, framed by four smaller garnet roses. Attached to the pretty centrepiece is a freely swinging pendant, which is also decorated with a garnet rose.
The five pea chains terminate on both sides in artistically crafted decorative elements, whose delicate design echoes the ornamentation of the centrepiece. From these, two beaded chains on each side lead to a matching ornamented clasp, which can be opened comfortably and securely thanks to an integrated push button.
This lovely traditional necklace was made in Linz around 1955 and is the perfect accessory for traditional costumes and dirndls.
