Description
A beautiful Munich-style charivari with seven pendants, crafted entirely from 800 silver (hallmarked and guaranteed).
Seven pendants hang from a richly decorated chain featuring alternating round and square links: a Marientaler from 1866 featuring a portrait of Ludwig II and the Patrona Bavariae, a boar’s tusk, a rock crystal, a three-dimensional fly with Grandeln as wings, a ‘Rehgoscherl’, a ‘Rehkümmerer’ and a Konventionstaler from 1769 bearing a bust of Elector Maximilian III Joseph on the obverse and the Patrona Bavariae on the reverse.
This richly adorned charivari fastens with a hook and eyelet.
This traditional and historic piece of jewellery was made around 1900 and originates from Munich. Thanks in particular to its exceptionally beautifully crafted chain, it makes a particularly lovely addition to traditional costume. It is suitable for both ladies and gentlemen.
