Charming historical Art Nouveau ring with diamonds, crafted from yellow gold 585 / 14ct and platinum (tested, stamped and guaranteed).
The elegantly curved ring head with platinum overlay is set with a total of nine diamonds: The two main stones, arranged in a toi-et-moi motif typical of the time, are two larger old-cut diamonds totalling ca. 0.4 carats. There are also five smaller old-cut diamonds and two rose-cut diamonds totalling ca. 0.14 carats. The diamonds are all in the beautiful quality range (H-J, SI2).
The elegant Art Nouveau ring was created around 1910, comes from a family in Berlin and is typical of Art Nouveau jewellery with its lively curved design. It also carries a romantic message, as the Toi-et-Moi design (you and me) symbolises two lovers and has therefore been a popular engagement ring and promise of marriage for centuries.
