The front of this decorative medallion is adorned with artistically engraved, sweeping floral motifs. The piece opens up to reveal a space inside for storing personal mementoes, photographs or keepsakes.
A sturdy sterling silver pea chain hangs from the generous pendant loop, which can be easily opened and closed with a small lobster clasp.
This beautiful medallion was crafted around 1973 in Birmingham. The city is often referred to as the silver capital of the United Kingdom, as it was home to numerous workshops that supplied Europe with exquisite silverware, art objects and jewellery. To this day, it is best known for its historic Jewellery Quarter.
