The round, slightly domed ring head is set in the centre with 37 sparkling, brilliant-cut black diamonds. The dark colour of black diamonds is created by a large number of inclusions of graphite or hematite, for example, in the crystal lattice. This gives them a wonderful metallic shine and makes them just as fascinating as white or colourless diamonds.
The black diamonds totalling 0.30 carats are surrounded by a ring of 27 white diamonds (H, SI1-P1), which have a total stone weight of 0.16 carats.
The gemstones are all embedded in yellow gold settings, creating a striking contrast of warm and cold colours.
