Large historical pendant made of deep black onyx with diamond and 585/14 carat yellow gold (tested and guaranteed).
The highly oval piece of jewellery is polished to a shine, slightly conical, with a raised centre and set with a sparkling old-cut diamond of ca. 0.15 carats. The precious stone is set in a gold claw setting and is of beautiful quality (H-I, SI1).
Thanks to a movable yellow gold eyelet, the piece of jewellery can be worn on a chain of your choice.
The precious antique pendant was created around 1890 and originates from Munich. The use of deep black polished onyx is typical of the late 19th century – at that time, deep black jewellery was extremely popular throughout Europe and highly valued for its austere elegance.
