Belle Epoque Negligee necklace with diamonds and half pearl, made of yellow gold 585/14 carat (stamped and guaranteed).
An anchor chain made of yellow gold hangs from a narrow pendant, at the end of which is a shimmering, freely moving half pearl. The beautiful pearl is flanked by a delicate leaf-shaped ornament set with rose-cut diamonds, and another old European cut diamond adds a sparkling accent to the top of the pendant. The diamonds have a total carat weight of ca. 0.1 carats and are of beautiful medium quality (G-H, SI1-SI2).
The necklace can be easily put on and taken off with the help of a simple spring clasp.
The special shape of the necklace with pendants, known as the Negligee necklace, was particularly popular at the turn of the century. This elegant necklace was created around 1910 and is a fine example of the high-quality jewellery of the time.
Length of the necklace: 42.5 cm.
Dimensions of the pendant: 3.3 x 0.5 cm.
Diameter of the old European cut diamond: ca. 3.2 mm, ca. 0.1 ct (G-H, SI1-SI2).
Diameter of the rose-cut diamonds: ca. 0.8 mm, total ca. 0.02 ct.
Half pearl dimensions: ca. 7.1 x 5.1 mm.
Weight: 2.7 grams.
