Fantastic earrings from the Belle Époque, crafted from diamonds, 585/14 carat yellow gold and platinum (tested and guaranteed).
High-quality clasps feature an old-european-cut diamond and a movable floral-shaped pendant, which culminates in a sparkling blossom made up of eight additional old-european-cut diamonds. The delicate leaf-shaped links are each decorated with five small rose-cut diamonds and an additional old-european-cut diamond.
The total of 30 diamonds have a combined stone weight of ca. 1.8 carats and are of beautiful quality (G-H, SI1-SI2).
In keeping with the taste of the time, the precious stones are set in platinum. At the beginning of the 20th century, when Europe was experiencing a period of peace known as the Belle Époque, so-called white jewellery was particularly popular, i.e. jewellery with diamonds set in light-coloured ("white") precious metals such as silver, platinum and later white gold.
Underneath the platinum coating, these earrings feature a yellow gold base that is also typical of the period. The clasps are also made of 585 / 14 K yellow gold.
These particularly beautiful and rare earrings were made around 1905 and originate from southern Germany. They accompany every movement of their wearer with an enchanting sparkle and their floral shape gives them a particularly feminine and romantic look.
