94 marcasites, ca. 1.0 mm in diameter.
Description
Stylish Fahrner brooch with cultured pearl and marcasites, crafted from gold-plated sterling silver 925 (stamped, signed and guaranteed).
The brooch, crafted in the shape of a flower, is ornamented with beautiful, delicate soldering. A shimmering, creamy-white Akoya cultured pearl serves as the center of the flower, while sparkling marcasites set further accents on the folded sides of the petals and as a stylized pollen thread, lending plasticity to the pretty design.
On the back, the piece of jewelry has a well-functioning pin with a safety catch.
The historic brooch was created around 1935 and is characterized by its fine soldered wire work. This technique characterized Fahrner's filigree jewelry from 1932. To this day, the name Theodor Fahrner stands for artistically convincing designs and high-quality workmanship.
Dimensions of the brooch: ca. 5.0 x 4.8 cm.
Diameter of the pearl: 6.3 mm.
Diameter of the marcasites: ca. 1.0 mm.
Weight: 15.3 grams.
Condition: beautiful, freshly cleaned, see photos.
You will receive the brooch lovingly packed in one of our pretty boxes and with a certificate of authenticity.
