Description
Rare art deco necklace made of aquamarine, onyx, 750 / 18 ct enamel yellow gold (tested and guaranteed) and diamonds;
The front part of the necklace is made of enamelled and diamond-set elements with oval aquamarine lenses with ornamental engravings in between, and the side and back part of the necklace is made of polished onyx beads and engraved aquamarine lenses.
The gold cones decorated with black enamel are set with a total of 272 diamonds. These have a stone weight of approx. 2.7 and carat and are in the medium quality range (h-i, vs2-si1).
A small, ornamentally chiselled box lock made of yellow gold and serves for the uncomplicated opening and closing of the chain.
The sophisticated necklace was created around 1930 and is a typical representative of Art Deco with its simple geometric design and the typical combination of black with the fine blue of aquamarine, a typical representative of the time.
It can be wonderfully integrated into day and evening outfits and is a noble and stylish eye-catcher.
