Antique lavalière necklace with rhodolites, crafted from 14-carat yellow gold (hallmarked and guaranteed).
A pendant is attached to a delicate gold anchor chain; it is beautifully decorated with foliage and delicate snails formed from ribbed bars. At its centre sits an intensely luminous, round-faceted rhodolite. The pendant’s suspension is also decorated at the end with foliage and a rhodolite. The two beautiful, luminous gemstones, which belong to the garnet family, have a combined carat weight of ca. 0.6 carats and captivate with their intense raspberry-red colour.
The necklace fastens with a simple spring clasp, ensuring ease of use and a secure fit.
This rare, historic lavalière necklace was crafted in Austria around 1910. Originally designed to complement daytime attire, this timeless and elegant piece of jewellery can now be worn with any outfit for any occasion.
