Simple, vintage-style diamond dormeuse earrings, crafted from 585/14-carat yellow gold and platinum (assayed and guaranteed).
Each pair features a sparkling round Old European Cut diamond set in a practical hinged clasp, surrounded by a ring of gold and platinum. A small diamond rose at the top completes the simple yet striking design. The diamonds have a combined carat weight of ca. 0.18 carats and are of a fine quality (J-K, SI1-SI2).
As was customary at the time, the earrings are crafted from yellow gold and finished with a platinum overlay, allowing the diamonds to shine particularly beautifully.
These historic earrings were created around 1910 in Vienna and owe their name to the fact that, thanks to their compact shape, they sit close to the ear and could even be worn whilst sleeping. Today, their simple and elegant design makes them a versatile accessory, suitable for both everyday wear and festive occasions.
