Delicate pearl necklace with a diamond and ruby pendant, crafted from 585 gold (assayed and guaranteed).

This delicate necklace, made of creamy white cultured pearls, is set in the centre with four fine faceted rubies and four diamond roses, which form a wreath around a small pearl in the centre. The rubies, set in bezel settings, have a total carat weight of ca. 0.06 ct and shine in a beautiful ruby red. The four small diamond roses have a combined carat weight of 0.06 ct.
The necklace fastens with a spring clasp in 585 gold.

The necklace was made around 1890; the cultured pearls were replaced at a later date. The delicate design of the necklace blends beautifully into everyday wear and also makes a lovely statement with evening wear.
